Every new season brings new storylines and surprises - who saw Brandon Jennings leading like he has in Milwaukee? We knew Phoenix was a good team, but a 7-1 team leading the West? Did anyone really see AI and the term "retirement" appearing in the same story only three games into his Memphis career?

Aside from all of the new surprises going on between whistles, the NBA will be giving players a new look starting Christmas Day (which, believe it or not, is sooner than you think!). This new look is the adidas Game Time On-Court Shooting Shirt - a new short-sleeve shirt with each player's name, number, and team logo.

Unlike most shooting shirts, these are personalized whether it's for your favorite player out on the hardwood or for when you head out to your driveway. And right now, the only way you can get a hold of one of these is through NBAStore.com!

And the new Shooting Shirt isn't the only thing that NBAStore.com has in the authentic department, with all the latest Court Series gear available today for your favorite team.

And don't miss out - just in time for the temperatures to drop, we went ahead and did the same to our fleece selection! From now through Saturday, save 15% on select fleece - make sure you've got everything to stay warm and in style this winter. And if that's not enough, save with FREE shipping on all orders of $85 or more.

Savings. Style. Hoops. They make a heck of a group, don't they?

A New Season Opens With New Gear, a Title Defense, and a Chance to Save Big

Seasonopener

A new season. New hope. New questions.

Even team has the "what if" factor. Can Iverson bring Memphis into new era with the young core surrounding him? Can Minnesota's youth take the next step? Do Shaq and LeBron bring a title to Cleveland? And will the Sixers new look lead to a return to the glory days?

Every team has questions - and all of them are about to be answered. At NBAStore.com, we love the anticipation, but we'll settle for being a bit more predictable. And here's what we can tell you...

To celebrate the season opener, there will be a special 8-hour sale tonight, beginning at 7:00 PM EST and running until 3 AM EST. For these eight hours, you'll be able to save 20% on your orders (exclusions include jerseys), including all the latest gear that your team will be hitting the hardwood in - the new 2009-2010 Authentic Collection. And for all you Lakers fans out there, you can pick up the special Ring Ceremony gear which your team will be wearing as they open up the season in defense of last year's title.

There are plenty of other items available, too, including the latest Soul Swingman jerseys incase you're looking to take a step back before jumping into this season as well.

And finally, make sure to check out the new Michael Jordan Mitchell & Ness Limited Edition rookie jersey - you might remember us mentioning this before - which is now available! Along with all the Jordan apparel you could ever want, this collectible is one of a kind (literally) as each jersey is numbered to represent a particular game in the career or His Airness.

There's alot going on - but make sure you're back here tonight to take advantage and open the season in style!

Jordan
Air Jordan. His Airness. Six-time NBA champion. Five-time NBA MVP. 14-Time NBA All-Star. Six-time NBA Finals MVP. 10-Time All-NBA First Team selection. Two-time Gold Medal winner.

There are alot of ways to introduce him. Those listed above? That's not even half.

But no matter the title, what's certain is that the first time he stepped on a basketball court, the game changed. But now, you can try and have a little reminder of that - of the Moment the Game Changed - over at NBAStore.com. For one, you can get your own t-shirt from Mitchell & Ness here. The tee spells out that exact moment - time and date - that he hit the hardwood in the NBA.

And there's another way to get a little bit closer to that moment. Chris Paul did it. Sneakerfiles.com did it. And you can, too. You just need to know where to look, but it's there (but only a select number!).

Become a part of the moment. Go check it out.

What Does Your Jersey Say About You?

We're less than a month away - October is here, training camps have started and the preseason is in full swing.

Yes, we're that close.

And as we get closer to the season tip-off, NBAStore.com has been gearing up with all of the latest products for you so you can cheer on your team in style - but with so many options, how do you know which to choose?

NBAStore.com's selection of jerseys is just about anything a basketball fan could hope for, but it all depends on what you want your jersey to say about you. Maybe you're a throwback yourself, a fan of the team but someone who lived to watch a player long since gone who had their numbers raised to the rafters in a final tribute to their skill on the court. With NBAStore.com's ever-expanding selection of Hardwood Classic jerseys from adidas and Mitchell & Ness, we've got you covered.

You can choose from any number of authentic or swingman throwbacks and let eveyrone know that while you love the product on the court right now, you still know a classic when you see one.

Or maybe you're looking to feel a little closer to the team and want to get as close as you can short of signing that contract we all dreamed of as kids. If so, one of our personalized jerseys might just be the fit for you. Your name, your number, your team - it doesn't get much better.

And for all you Charlotte and Philadelphia fans out there, don't worry, we've got your team's new jerseys, too, fresh after being unveiled. You can swing by and pick up the Bobcats new look here, or stop by and view the Sixers old (with a new twist) look here.

Authentic, swingman, replica, personalized, classic, retro, current... the choices are unbelievable, but it makes finding that perfect jersey even easier. So what will you be wearing this year? What will your jersey say, not about your team, but about you?

New Homes for All - Iverson to Memphis and Legends to the Hall of Fame

Published September 18, 2009

Iversonhof Over the past week we've seen a few notable players take up residence in new locations.

For one, Allen Iverson joined the Memphis Grizzlies and their young core of players in an effort to give the franchise a push toward the next step, with A.I. saying he'll be back and better than ever. You can be the first in your neighborhood to rock the new Iverson jersey, now available over at NBAStore.com!

And while Iverson tweeted away and left fans wondering where he'd finally sign, there were a few other players whose destinations we knew a long time ago. From the moment they retired, there was little doubt players like John Stockton, David Robinson, and the all-time great Michael Jordan would end up being permanent residents in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame - and sure enough, on Friday, they did just that.

Not to be overlooked are Jerry Sloane, Utah's head coach, and C. Vivian Stringer, Rutger's women's coach, who were also inducted. For those of you who might have missed it, the NBA has a great video to recap and countless highlights all uploaded on their YouTube page which you can check out here.

But for the rest of us who may not have the chance to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, there is always the next best thing which is to get all the gear - whether it be for this year's class or any other. NBAStore.com has you covered with all the latest in their Hall of Fame collection, or get even more nostalgic and check out the entire Hardwood Classics collection here.

But don't live in the past too much! The season's right around the corner!
